The results of the spring 2022 election are as follows.

Vice Chair (Chair Designate) of the Division for a two-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024; the first year as Vice Chair and the second year as Chair of the San Diego Division.

Divisional Representatives (two vacancies) to the systemwide Assembly of the Academic Senate for a two-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024.

Member of the Committee on Committees from an Engineering department for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025.

Paul Siegel, Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering
Member of the Committee on Committees from a Health Sciences department, excluding the Department of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025.

Christine Chung, Professor-IR, Radiology
Member of the Committee on Committees from a Science department for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025.

Steven P. Briggs, Professor, Cell & Developmental Biology
Member of the Committee on Committees from a Social Sciences department for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025.

Seana Coulson, Professor, Cognitive Science
At-Large Member of the Committee on Committees for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025.

Joshua Graff Zivin, Professor, Global Policy & Strategy

The number of valid ballots cast in this election was 511, which represents a 20% turnout of the current Senate membership.
