The charge to the committee is to evaluate CEO Maysent’s performance in the full spectrum of leadership responsibilities for UC San Diego Health, including but not limited to the following areas: leadership ability, decision-making ability, administrative and managerial skills, and representational ability.
Some of the critical features to be addressed in the review include CEO Health Maysent’s leadership in advancing patient care, financial health and sustainability of UC San Diego Health; evolving the UC San Diego Health system for serving its patients, staff, faculty, students and community; supporting the diversity of the institution; fostering interdisciplinary relations and expanding collaborative opportunities; and working with external and professional communities.
In the coming weeks, the review committee will solicit comments from individuals who have direct and specific knowledge of her performance and contributions. The review committee will strive to ensure the confidentiality of all respondents. Individuals wishing to provide input may also contact Review Chair Chan at ceohealthreview@ucsd.edu. All comments are due by Friday, July 15, 2022. Thank you in advance for your input.
