The Office of Contract and Grant Administration (OCGA) will be holding a three-day all-staff retreat to provide an in-person opportunity for the entire OCGA team to strengthen our culture and relationships, and to better align ways of working with each other and customers. Since many of our staff joined OCGA remotely during the pandemic, this retreat is particularly important to our efforts to strengthen our organization and continue to improve the collaborative customer experience.
During this time of adjusted operation, we ask that you:
- Plan accordingly. If you have proposals due during that period, please be prepared to submit final proposals by Monday, August 22. Staff will not be available to submit proposals during retreat hours, but will attend to urgent matters before and after this retreat.
- Remain patient. Submit questions to researchadmin@ucsd.edu, but be aware the client experience coverage will be reduced from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. during retreat days.
- For urgent items, staff will do their best to respond on breaks and before 8 a.m. and after 3 p.m. (PST) on the retreat days.
