Assistance for Faculty or Researchers Due to Lost Funding Associated with the Implementation of New Financial Systems
University leadership has agreed to assist faculty or researchers who have suffered losses attributable to issues associated with the implementation of new financial systems. This is expected to be the final opportunity to seek reimbursement. Funding amounts will be determined after all applications are received.
 
A committee composed of faculty engaged in research and administrative staff has been formed to develop the criteria and award funds to applicants with a minimum impacted amount of $500. The committee has agreed on the following criteria, also noted in the application form:
  • Reimbursements denied
  • Invoices rejected
  • Funding required to be returned
  • Other (select this category for a rare situation that is not described above but may still qualify for reimbursement)
More information on the timeline and application process will be distributed after the committee’s initial meeting in October.
 
In the meantime, please feel free to connect with your department’s administration or central office for assistance in determining the financial status of your awards, and to discuss any concerns you might have regarding the accuracy of your data or your ability to meet sponsor deadlines.
