UC San Diego Postdoctoberfest Celebration

The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA) is pleased to announce the inaugural UC San Diego Postdoctoberfest celebration. Postdoctoberfest is our month-long celebration of UC San Diego postdocs. We encourage all departments and postdoc mentors to take this opportunity to recognize their postdocs and participate in these celebrations annually.

To show your support and appreciation of our postdocs, we welcome you to stop by the GEPA office to pick up a Postdoctoberfest button to wear during the month of October.

For this year’s celebration, postdoc mentors, departments or postdocs themselves can apply to have GEPA sponsor a pizza party for their postdocs. One winner will be randomly selected from all the submissions received by the October 10 deadline.

We also encourage the submissions of notes or images recognizing UCSD postdocs to the Postdoctoral Association’s Postdoctoberfest Jamboard. Two of the UCSD postdocs who receive shout outs will be randomly selected to receive $50 gift cards.
