Deadline Extended for California Climate Action Initiative Proposals
As announced in December, the California Climate Action Initiative Request for Proposals is available now. A total of $80 million is available to support cross-disciplinary, multi-sector research in California, aimed at creating real-world solutions that will have measurable impact over the next one to three years.
The program includes two distinct funding mechanisms, Climate Action Seed and Matching Awards, but Principal Investigators (PIs) planning to submit a proposal to either mechanism must first submit a Letter of Intent via SmartSimple.
The deadline has been extended until 12 p.m. noon Pacific Time on Thursday, January 19.
