UC San Diego is pleased to join our University of California partners and the nation in commemorating National Transfer Student Week, a celebration of our current and future Triton Transfers and the community of faculty and staff who support them. Recognizing that one-third of incoming undergraduates are talented and accomplished students who begin their journey from other colleges and universities, our transfer students continue to enrich our campus community through their unique experiences, talents and accomplishments.
From October 16 - 20, students, faculty and staff are welcomed to participate in an array of events, programs and services which focus on connecting transfer students to resources and to one another.
Mark your calendars to join us for key events:
- Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 1 – 4 p.m.: National Transfer Student Week Celebration and Resource Fair on Sun God Lawn.
- Join us at 3:45 p.m. on the lawn to take a large group photo of all of the Transfer allies around campus!
- Wednesday, Oct. 18 from noon – 1 p.m. (virtual): Triton Transfers Pipeline Forum.
- Join the Office of Admissions and Transfer Student Success for this professional development event for faculty and staff to learn about and discuss how we recruit, retain and graduate our Triton Transfers. Attend via Zoom.

Transfer Student Resources
The Triton Transfer Hub is the cornerstone of Transfer Student Success. Within the Triton Transfer Hub, the team provides resources, services and programs to empower Triton Transfers to achieve their goals as they navigate UC San Diego's academic and cultural landscape. Staff and student staff assist transfer students in their transition through active engagement in opportunities that support their paths and build community so they can thrive academically, professionally and personally. In addition, Transfer Student Success provides support to the campus community to share knowledge and implement proven practices to support transfer student experiences.
