Celebrate Clean Air Day 2023 at UC San Diego’s Electric Mobility Fair
Wednesday,
Oct. 4, 2023 is California’s Clean Air Day and UC San Diego is celebrating with activities and incentives for Tritons who want to reduce emissions from commuting.
Attend the Electric Mobility Fair UC
San Diego Parking and Commuter Services welcomes you to attend the Clean Air Day Electric Mobility Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Town Square on campus.
Swing
by to learn more about the electric vehicle experience at our EV car show, including more than a dozen unique makes and models. We’ll also have information about our charging expansion plan that will increase on-campus charging capacity by 250% over the next two years.
Check
out vendors, including Velotric e-bikes and SPIN Scooters, who will be hosting exclusive giveaways and sharing one-day-only promo codes for attendees. Parking and Commuter Services and UC San Diego Police will also be there to support pedestrians and micromobility users with free safety gear and information about how to ride safely and secure your wheels while you’re in class or at work.
Ride Transit for Free San Diego MTS and NCTD Transit is free on October 4 – no U-Pass or Fast Pass required. Even the Coaster is included, making it a great day to ride the rails – all for free.
Enter for a Chance to Win a New Electric Bike Parking
and Commuter Services has joined with e-bike vendor Velotric to hold an
opportunity drawing for a brand new Velotric e-bike. Register on-site at the Electric Mobility Fair on Town Square and score an additional entry by logging your lower-impact commute on October 4 through the Triton Commuter Club.
