The Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor, Resource Management and Planning invites comments on a proposed revised draft Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) 530-6, Key Control and Electronic Access Policy.
Proposed revisions include:
- Updates to existing policy to reflect emerging security considerations as they relate to key control, protocols and physical security access management.
- Establish Electronic Access Control technology standard in support of campus facility security and operations.
- Clearly defined roles and responsibilities in the on-boarding, maintenance, and support of physical key and electronic access control.
- Updated Key Check-Out protocols.
This is a formal review of the proposed policy. If you have comments for submission in response to the policy review, please provide your written comments to Paula Johnson in Policy and Records Administration at policy@ucsd.edu no later than Friday December 1, 2023.
