The Office of Research and Innovation is pleased to announce the Principal Investigator (PI) Exception request process has transitioned from the OnBase platform to Kuali Build effective immediately.
This change was initiated in response to user requests to streamline our process for members of our enterprising research community to receive timely PI exception approval for submission of grant proposals by agency due dates.
With this launch, data has been integrated from Kuali Research and Employee Activity Hub, ensuring the most up-to-date information is included in the PI exception request.
Utilizing Kuali Build will improve efficiencies, provide enhanced workflow logic, and eliminate current access issues. This will speed submissions and lead to shorter turnaround times once fully implemented.
