This spring, the campus will host one Triton Days Open House event on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Tailored to engage both admitted first-year students AND transfer applicants, we have combined our signature events to allow for broader campus participation in celebrating newly admitted first-year students, while also providing transfer applicants the opportunity to discover the Triton experience prior to the decision deadline for other institutions. Triton Days will provide all participants an immersive experience of campus life including tours, academic insights and more.
Following the Triton Days Open House in April, we will host two Transfer Celebration events on Friday, May 3 and 17, exclusively for admitted transfer students. At these smaller-scale events, the campus community will have the opportunity to engage with admitted transfers while tabling at the academic department and student support services resource fair. Newly admitted transfers will also hear from the Triton Transfer Hub, as well as other key units, and have the opportunity to meet with other units during an Information Fair format.
We encourage you to mark your calendar, register and participate in both Triton Days events: the Saturday Open House and the Friday Transfer Celebrations. Broad community support, including your active participation in these events is vital; it contributes significantly to the overall success of Triton Days and helps students during the important decision-making process.
Triton Days Open House
- Date: Saturday, April 13, 2024
- Invited Guests: Fall 2024 admitted first-year students and transfer applicants
- Goal: Activating an expansive footprint with broad campus support showcasing the programs and opportunities available for future Tritons.
Triton Days Transfer Celebration (formerly Transfer Friday)
- Dates: Friday, May 3 AND Friday, May 17, 2024
- Invited Guests: Fall 2024 admitted transfer students
- Goal: Presentations hosted at a single, on-campus venue for newly admitted transfer students to learn about the opportunities available to them. Transfers will engage with campus departments and support services through an Information Fair.
A Triton Days All Hands Kick-off Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024. Please register and encourage your colleagues to attend this informative webinar, by clicking here. During this meeting staff from Enrollment Management will review the new format, walk through the registration form and address any questions you have regarding Triton Days. The anticipated date for Triton Days registration is scheduled for mid-January and the deadline to sign up is set for Friday, Feb. 9.
