Annual Academic Senate Service Preferences Update
Dear Colleagues,
Senate service, by faculty like you, is the key to shared governance of the University. Senate service is also a great way to meet and network with faculty all across campus, while contributing to the service requirement for advancement. There are many kinds of committees and levels of service for you to consider. Are you concerned about climate action? Graduate education and funding? Academic freedom? Undergraduate education? Open access? Online education? The Senate is engaged in all of these issues and more. Please visit the list of Senate standing committees and descriptions on the Senate website to learn more about what they do.
We invite you to update your Service Preference Profile on the Academic Senate’s website to register your willingness to serve on 2023-24 Senate committees and indicate which committees are of interest to you.
