Call for Applications - Membership on the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW)
The UC San Diego Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) is actively seeking new members. We are recruiting for all membership categories: faculty, staff, academic appointees, postdoctoral scholars, undergraduate students, and graduate students. See section APM 110-4.15 for faculty definition, titles, and series.
The CSW meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 12:30-2 p.m., unless otherwise noted. For more information about the Committee on the Status of Women, visit: http://statusofwomen.ucsd.edu.
Selection criteria include: commitment to serve on the Committee on the Status of Women for a one-to three-year term; commitment to attend monthly, 90-minute CSW meetings; commitment to join a CSW subcommittee (3-5 hours per month) that matches your skills, expertise, and/or interests; and demonstrated interest in issues relating to gender equity and the status of women students, staff, and faculty at UC San Diego. The goal is to have diverse cross-campus representation in this committee.
