You may have heard about the upcoming changes to TritonPay, the current student billing and payment application.
TritonPay Changes
Students and authorized payers will experience a new, modern user interface that is mobile-centric, supports flexible payment options and offers recurring autopay features.
Action Required
Before the new TritonPay launches this August, students with active authorized payers will receive limited early access. Starting June 15, 2023, these students will be able to complete three vital steps in the new TritonPay portal to ensure a smooth transition:
- Re-authorize any payers on your account (if applicable)
- Add and save your preferred payment method (e-check/credit card) for rapid check-out
- Sign up to receive SMS notifications related to your account (optional)
How to Gain Access
If you are a student with active authorized payer(s) in the current TritonPay system, please be on the lookout for emailed instructions about how to access the new TritonPay portal via your UC San Diego (ucsd.edu) email. Please note, you will still continue to pay your bills in the older version of TritonPay at this time.
Students Without Active Authorized Payers
If you are a student who does not currently have active authorized payers in your account, no action is currently needed so please await further guidance. We are initially targeting students who already have active authorized payers to provide them sufficient time to update their payer information and minimize disruption during this transition period.
All other students will receive access to the system at a future date, prior to the full system implementation on August 2, 2023, pending system readiness. Be on the lookout for additional announcements with further details.
