Remember to Vote: Election Reminders and Resources |
As the Nov. 5 general election quickly approaches, I want to encourage every member of our campus community to exercise your right to vote. As Tritons, we are part of a vibrant and diverse academic community that values democracy, social responsibility and civic engagement. Whether you are an experienced voter or casting your ballot for the very first time, your voice matters, and I urge you to make it heard.
Election season can be exciting, but also stressful and overwhelming for many. I encourage you to take advantage of the many resources available to help you navigate the electoral process, support your well-being and stay connected to your fellow Tritons. Our campus is committed to fostering a supportive community that promotes civic engagement and empowers students to make a positive impact.
|
During election season and always, please remember to abide by our Principles of Community and treat everyone with kindness and respect, even when we may disagree on various political issues. Our campus is a place for everyone to feel welcome, included and valued. Together, we must ensure we continue to foster a positive and supportive working and learning environment for all Tritons.
|
Several campus partners are offering spaces for students to connect, process and reflect after the election. Each event offers a supportive environment where students may share perspectives, participate in meaningful dialogue and engage in activities designed to foster grounding and connection.
