UPDATE TO - Community Alert Bulletin – UC San Diego Campus Phone Outage

UC San Diego continues to experience outages with some telephone services. The following are the most recent updates:

AT&T and other regional partners are working to remedy the situation.
Campus IT services staff are also on standby to minimize disruptions on campus.
While we don't anticipate significant disruptions to campus, should you need to complete a non-emergency landline call but experience a busy signal, you are encouraged to hang up and call back.
This outage is not impacting cell services or text messaging.
911 and text-to-911 services are still functioning.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is investigating possible issues with UCSD voice lines. These services may be slow or unavailable at this time. Outbound dialing will work, but calls coming into the campus are currently out of service.

If you have an emergency or are reporting a crime in progress, you can still reach the UC San Diego Police Department by dialing or texting 9-1-1. To submit an online tip that is not an emergency, please visit https://police.ucsd.edu/services/anonymous.html.
