We are pleased to announce the reappointment of Paul Yu as Provost of Revelle College following a positive administrative review and the review committee’s recommendation of reappointment.
The review committee commended Provost Yu’s continual dedication to students and staff. The committee also praised his focus on creating an inclusive environment, hearing many testimonies of his “tireless devotion to setting the highest standards of ethical and inclusive conduct at Revelle College.”
Additionally, Provost Yu has enhanced the Revelle student experience in many ways including by spearheading key curricular reforms to the general education requirements, instituting a Humanities class for the growing number of transfer students, expanding the number of first-year seminars and Summer Session offerings, and advocating for increased Revelle student participation in the Global Seminars program.
