Wind, heavy rains and potential additional flooding are expected in the area today into tomorrow. In preparation, the university is monitoring the storm system and taking the necessary precautions.
The safety of our UC San Diego community is our top priority. In anticipation of the forecasted storms, we ask you to prepare accordingly.
- Please be aware of changing weather conditions, and make sure you are signed up for Triton Alert Emergency Notifications.
- When possible, please provide flexibility to students, faculty or staff who have a loss of electricity, a need to evacuate their homes, or who experience other storm-related impacts from this latest weather system. We also ask that you provide that same flexibility to those who continue to deal with impacts from the storm on January 22.
- We also encourage people impacted by last week or this week’s storm to take advantage of local resources available.
Thank you for all you do to support others and keep the UC San Diego community safe.
