As part of the work of the Student Information System (SIS) Project, we will replace our current student information system, ISIS, with a new system, SAP’s Student Lifecycle Management.
On February 16, 2024, the SIS Project executive leadership decided to formally begin the ISIS Replacement Project on March 1, 2024, based on progress toward meeting previously established project readiness criteria. The readiness criteria included forming the project implementation team and advisory committee, developing robust project and organizational change management plans, and hiring backfill to support the individuals and units most impacted by the project work, among many other criteria.
The SIS Project core team is now preparing a formal kickoff event for the ISIS Replacement Project, currently anticipated within the next few months. Additional ongoing and upcoming activities include:
- Introductory and advanced system training to begin learning how the new system works
- Initial meetings of the advisory committee and change coalition for the project
- Listening sessions and engagements with key groups impacted by the project
- Design workshop sessions to begin designing and configuring the new system
As the ISIS Replacement Project gets underway, the university community can expect to receive regular updates from the team on project milestones and progress, and as we move closer to the go-live of the new system, expect more frequent communications from the team. Go-live is currently targeted for 2026, and a more specific date will be shared with the university community once it has been confirmed. To receive the most comprehensive and up-to-date information, please subscribe to the SIS project newsletter.
The project executive sponsor, EVC Elizabeth H. Simmons, as well as the governance committee and core team, thank the entire university community for their continued participation in and support of this ongoing effort.
