A Note From Your Campus CHRO, Terri Winbush |
People Leaders: For staff without ready access to email, please print and post a copy of this email.
|
With Pride Month, Juneteenth, and commencement ceremonies aplenty, this month is brimming with opportunities to cherish diversity and celebrate new beginnings.
In support of this, I want to encourage you all to live intentionally. To make it your life’s mission to find your purpose, your joy, your voice, and to live to your fullest expression. To relish in your identity and be proud of what makes you unique while respecting those whose views may differ from yours. If you’re already on that path, boldly inspire others to follow suit.
By living authentically and staying true to who you really are, not only are you honoring yourself; you’re contributing to a greater good by virtue of bringing your whole self everywhere you go, whether that’s here at work or at home with your loved ones. I promise to do all that I can to make work a safe place to bring your whole self, because I know all too well how exhausting it can be to hide who you really are.
So with that, be proud of who you are. Honor the history makers and movers and shakers who paved the way for you to freely be who you are. And turn your passions into a priority so that you can continue discovering parts of yourself that remain to be explored. That’s often how pride and freedom are born.
Lead with grace and courage,
Terri S. Winbush
Campus Chief Human Resources Officer

Important Information About Time and Attendance Reporting |
|
|
As seen in the recent campus notice, the University of California issued a system-wide reminder to all university non-faculty employees to submit time worked, absences, and/or acknowledge they have no absences to report by the deadline established at their campus/location. Accurate and complete time and leave reporting ensures that we are paid accurately, that the university meets its obligations to pay for work performed, and helps ensure the responsible use of public funds. To learn more, read the campus notice.
