Zoom AI Companion

We’re excited to announce the launch of Zoom AI Companion, a new tool designed to enhance your meeting experience with innovative features such as Meeting Summary, Smart Recording, In-Meeting Questions, and more.

Zoom AI Companion is now available for all campus personnel. To get started, follow these simple steps.

Before using Zoom AI Companion or any AI assistant, please review the UC San Diego Guidelines for the Use of AI Assistants in administrative meetings and educational settings. These guidelines provide information on ethical and acceptable use, define authorized users, and outline notice and privacy requirements. Questions about the guidelines can be directed to the Campus Privacy Office.

TritonGPT Updates

In addition to Zoom AI Companion, we're dedicated to leveraging AI in a financially responsible and ethically sound way. Our preferred Generative AI platform, TritonGPT, is securely hosted at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, ensuring full control over our data.

Other Supported AI Tools

We're committed to evaluating and deploying AI services that align with our contractual and security requirements. Currently, we're supporting Microsoft Copilot with Data Protection and Copilot for Microsoft 365, which is in a soft pilot. We invite you to explore these AI-powered tools and discover how they may enhance your work.
