Join Us for the Second Annual College Planning Event at UC San Diego!
We are excited to invite UC San Diego staff, faculty, UC San Diego Health employees, and their families to attend the Second Annual College Planning for UC San Diego Families event this Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. Space is still available, so register now to secure your spot!
Event Details:

- When: Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025
- Time: Registration and a light breakfast at 8:15 a.m.; Keynote starts at 9 a.m.
- Where: The Jeannie at Sixth College, UC San Diego campus
|
- Navigating Higher Education Options – Guidance for students, parents, and guardians on the four higher education systems.
- Affording Higher Education – Learn about FAFSA, scholarships, and grants.
- College: Making it Happen – College preparation workshop tailored for middle schoolers.
- Transfer Pathways – For community college students aiming for UC/CSU admission.
- Pathways to Success: Preparing for a STEM Major in College – Preparing middle/high schoolers for STEM success.

Workshops are offered in three sessions, with some repeated and others available only once, so be sure to plan ahead!
