January 14, 2025 Representative Assembly Meeting |
Dear Colleagues:
The second Representative Assembly meeting of the 2024-25 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 at 3:30 p.m., in the Liebow Auditorium of the Biomedical Sciences Building (2nd floor).
All Senate members are welcome to attend. If you are a Senate member who is not an Assembly Representative and you plan to attend the meeting, please RSVP to the Academic Senate Office at academicsenateoffice@ucsd.edu. We ask meeting participants to arrive by 3:15 so we may begin promptly at 3:30.

Chancellor Khosla will address the Assembly and there will be two presentations. Undocumented Student Services Program Manager Dayan Castañeda Muñoz and Director of Student Success Programs Juanita Razo Duenas will provide resources available to support undocumented students and those from mixed-status families. Senior Assistant Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences Academic Affairs Robert Ross and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences Academic Affairs Maripat Corr will present information about academic series in the Health Sciences. In addition, the following proposals will be presented:

- Proposal to amend San Diego Divisional Regulation 600, Section J, Campus Graduation Requirements, Part-Time Study

Scripps Institution of Oceanography and School of Global Policy and Strategy proposal to establish a five-year BS in Oceanic and Atmospheric Science-Public Policy/Master of Public Policy (BS-MPP) program
- Proposal to amend San Diego Divisional Appendix 5.7, Bylaws of the Faculty of the School of Medicine
- Proposal to amend San Diego Divisional Appendix 5.11, Bylaws and Regulations of the Faculty of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Your questions will be shared with the presenters so that they may be prepared to discuss them in advance.
Primary Representatives and Alternate Representatives should coordinate their attendance and voting for this meeting. Both may attend; however, Alternate Representatives may only vote in the absence of the Primary Representative. Please coordinate who will attend and cast votes, in advance of the meeting. Your participation matters. I look forward to seeing you on January 14.
