The goal for the Triton Days Open House is to create an immersive experience that goes beyond the UC San Diego website, showcasing the rich and diverse life at UC San Diego. Students will have the chance to engage with your unit through a variety of activities, including information sessions, resource fair tabling, and department open houses.
Last year, this event welcomed more than 8,000 students, family members, and guests, creating a vibrant celebration of our newly admitted first-year students while offering transfer applicants a wonderful opportunity to explore and connect with our Triton community before making their important decisions.
Following the Triton Days Open House, the campus will host a Transfer Celebration event, exclusively for admitted transfer students at the Epstein Family Amphitheater. This smaller-scale event will provide an opportunity for academic departments, programs, and student support services and programs to connect with admitted transfer students who may have missed our Triton Days Open House in April.
You are encouraged to explore the Triton Days webpage for additional event details, including how your unit can get involved, accessing the registration form, and watching the program overview video.
The participation form is now open and will remain available until Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. We highly encourage early registration to secure your participation! If you have any questions before submitting your participation form, please don’t hesitate to reach out to tritondays@ucsd.edu.
If you’d like to volunteer more generally, the team welcomes your support! Volunteer tasks could be helping with setup, assisting attendees, or supporting the Triton Days team. The Triton Days team will match you with a task that suits your interests and availability. Please fill out our volunteer form, and the team will find the best way for you to get involved.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. Let’s create a memorable experience for our future Tritons, together!
Sincerely,
