I am happy to announce the third annual Chancellor’s Innovation Awards and the start of the open application period.
This program recognizes and celebrates the profound impact of the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that is unique to UC San Diego, as well as the individuals who are driving positive societal change through groundbreaking discovery in two categories: Startup of the Year and Student/Alumni Innovator of the Year.
The Startup of the Year honors groundbreaking faculty-driven initiatives that have evolved into successful ventures, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and betterment of society.
The Student/Alumni Innovator of the Year recognizes student and alumni pioneers who turn novel ideas into lasting impact, within our campus and regional community, and globally. These categories represent the diverse spectrum of innovation that thrives within our university.
