UC San Diego Celebrates Native American Heritage Month |
Native American Heritage Month (NAHM), observed every November in the United States, is a time to celebrate and recognize Indigenous peoples' cultures, traditions, histories, and enduring contributions.
At UC San Diego, our Intertribal Resource Center leads a campus committee that recognizes the achievements and contributions of Native American people and tribes. The committee comprises students, faculty, and staff, who are all committed to honoring our local tribal communities. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in various events throughout the month, including a special kickoff celebration.
