Project Location/Description:
The Applied Physics and Mathematics Building is located in the Muir section of campus. This project involves replacing an Air Handling Unit (AHU) and exhaust fans, upgrading the existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Direct Digital Control system, and replacing the pump system. The majority of work will occur in the basement and on the roof. The project scope includes minimal site work, demolition, and concrete flatwork repair, if required.
Anticipated dates of impact are from December 8, 2025 thru December 30, 2026.
Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts:
The project will utilize the loading dock at Mandler/McGill Hall during specified times. The project team will minimize pedestrian access impacts in areas surrounding the building, including the north sidewalk.
We greatly appreciate your patience as we work with our agency partners to facilitate these access, circulation, and infrastructure improvements.
