First awarded in June 2013, the UC San Diego Foundation Excellence in Stewardship Awards recognize faculty and staff who go above and beyond to engage and acknowledge our donors and support UC San Diego’s efforts to educate, develop and enrich society.

I encourage you to nominate eligible* colleagues whose ongoing stewardship efforts build and strengthen deep relationships throughout the community. Awardees selected by the UC San Diego Foundation Donor Relations and Stewardship Committee will be notified in April and recognized in June.

*Please note that employees are not eligible for nomination if their job description intrinsically requires the stewardship of donors. This includes Advancement staff, University Communications staff, Government and Community Relations staff, vice chancellors, deans and other senior administrators or campus leaders. Employees who are currently enrolled at UC San Diego as students are not eligible for nomination.
