Tritons Belong + Academic Senate Seminar Series: Broad Versus Deep Social Interactions: What’s the Best Way to Understand Others?

The ongoing Tritons Belong VC-EDI and Academic Senate Seminar continues on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. with the seminar, “Broad Versus Deep Social Interactions: What’s the Best Way to Understand Others?” by Gareth Nellis, Assistant Professor of Political Science. Nellis is a comparative political scientist who studies intergroup relations.

The Tritons Belong + Academic Senate Seminar Series launched with the seminar “America's Changing Demographics and its Effect on Democracy” by Barbara F. Walter, Rohr Professor of International Affairs at the School of Global Policy and Strategy. The talk included excerpts and research from her recent book, How Civil Wars Start And How to Stop Them.
