Important Changes to UC Path Access |
Due to increasing phishing threats to personal information in UC Path, UC San Diego - along with all UC locations – is now requiring the use of Duo multi-factor authentication with “Verified Push” when accessing UC Path.
As of February 28, 2025, the following changes have been made:
|
-
When attempting to access UC Path, Duo will now require a “Verified Push,” which prompts users to enter a four-digit PIN for added security
- SMS codes are no longer available as a verification method
- Members of UC San Diego Health will need to use the Campus Duo “Verified Push” to access UC Path from clinical locations that previously didn’t require Duo
|
If you are experiencing issues logging into UC Path with Duo, please:
|
If your device is incompatible with Duo Mobile or you’re unable to use your phone for authentication, you can request a Duo hardware token by completing the Duo Hardware Token Request form.
