EV Driver Education Day will offer attendees a unique opportunity to learn about EV charging, experience hands-on demonstrations of charging hardware and talk with representatives from PowerFlex, UC San Diego’s largest charging network partner. The event will feature demonstrations of the PowerFlex driver app and sign-up opportunities, providing convenient access to charging infrastructure and enhancing the overall driver experience. Attendees will also receive information about existing and upcoming programs and rebates to make electric vehicle ownership more affordable. The Staff Sustainability Network will also be on hand with an opportunity drawing for a share of $100 in PowerFlex charging credits.
EV Driver Education Day is open to UC San Diego students, faculty, staff and the San Diego community. The event will take place on April 2, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Town Square on the UC San Diego campus.

To satisfy your need for speed, UC San Diego now offers 19 Direct Current (DC) Fast Chargers where Tritons and campus guests can add up to 185 miles of range in as little as 30 minutes. Our DC Fast Chargers are conveniently located throughout the campus and are available to Tritons, visitors and nearby residents. Parking fees are waived for charging sessions at EV-1 (DCFC) spaces between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily to support our campus neighbors without access to home charging.
