Be Heard, Make Change: Take the “Tritons Speak Out” Survey

Next Monday, April 7th, you will receive an invitation to participate in “Tritons Speak Out,” an anonymous survey about community norms, campus resources, and student experiences regarding sexual violence and sexual harassment.

Your feedback is essential in shaping the future of sexual misconduct prevention, support, and response at UC San Diego. All students are invited to participate to ensure that the survey captures a comprehensive view of our community’s needs and experiences.

The survey will remain open until June 2nd. As a recognition of your time and effort, those who complete the survey will be entered into weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing. The earlier you complete the survey, the more chances you will have to win. Prizes include:

  • (2) $50 gift cards per week
  • (4) $25 gift cards per week

At the close of the survey, a final drawing will be held, with the grand prizes including:

  • (1) $200 gift card
  • (4) $100 gift cards

Winners can choose their gift card from a list of vendors.

We know that the topics covered by this survey are sensitive. Please be assured that the survey is anonymous. Email addresses are NOT linked to individual survey responses, and there is no way to connect a survey response to a specific individual. Email addresses will be used only to send survey invitations and reminders and to select winners for the gift card drawings. Additionally, the results of the survey will be reported only at the group level, with responses combined to prevent the identification of individuals.

We are also committed to offering you support and respecting your choices as you complete the survey. All questions are optional and may be skipped if you do not wish to answer them. If you would like to talk to someone about any of the issues raised by the survey, CARE at the Sexual Assault Resource Center and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provide confidential support and counseling services. If you would like to report sexual harassment or sexual violence, please contact the Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination.

You will receive an invitation to participate from “Tritons Speak Out Survey” with the subject line: INVITATION: “Tritons Speak Out” Survey. Please follow the link in this email to complete the survey.

If you would like to learn more about the survey, please visit the “Tritons Speak Out” survey FAQs.

We appreciate your time in contributing to a supportive, respectful, and caring campus community.
