Pride: Celebrate the UC San Diego LGBTQIA+ Community

The UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center is excited to announce its 2025 Out and Proud series, taking place April 14-25, 2025, during Weeks 3 and 4 of Spring Quarter. This two-week series, open to all UC San Diego faculty, staff and students, will feature programming that focuses on the theme "Roots of Resistance," bringing awareness to LGBTQIA+ issues and providing an opportunity for visibility and reflection.

The Out and Proud Series stands as UC San Diego’s most visible celebration of LGBTQIA+ identity — a powerful space to honor the resilience, achievements, and contributions of our queer and trans students, staff, faculty, and allies.

This year’s signature series event is a community event where students will engage with performances from San Diego artists and share education, joy, art, music and food. Join us in celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and being part of Out and Proud. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

We celebrate Pride in April because of our quarter system. We also encourage participation and celebration during the nationally recognized Pride Month in June and San Diego's Pride celebration in July. If you would like to register for the UC San Diego contingent for San Diego Pride, you can visit the LGBT Resource Center website.

Visit the series website to learn more about the different events.
