REVISED CONSTRUCTION ALERT - SIO Automatic Load Shed System

***Revision to location, duration, and impacted area.

Project Purpose: Trenching and installation of underground electrical duct bank. The project will enable communications between the SIO and Revelle Switching Stations to improve data and network connectivity in the campus power system.

Location and Duration: Construction will start on SIO Automatic Load Shed System on May 8th thru May 22nd. Areas impacted will be from Revelle College all the way down to La Jolla Shores.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts:

Of all affected areas, at most one lane will be closed with traffic control. Traffic will be delayed but not blocked, no rerouting or detour necessary.
Dates and length of time the areas are affected are listed and color coded on the map.

Please observe all temporary traffic controls and crewmember instructions. Please reduce speeds and allow extra space when traveling adjacent to construction activity. See a map of the affected area.
