Recreation offers diverse facilities and programs to the UC San Diego community to build healthy bodies and healthy minds. Recreation welcomes everyone and is available to all.
Student Affairs Case Management Services partners with Togetherall to offer a safe, online mental health community where students can anonymously connect with others for advice, tips or just speak to someone who can understand and listen, 24/7. Additionally, Triton2Triton is a supportive, online connection space where students may connect via chat with trained peers who can help with navigating resources.
The UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness (CFM) offers weekly online donation-based continuing practice sessions to help students, staff, and faculty integrate mindful living into all aspects of their lives. There is also a free 30-minute introductory session offered on the first Friday of the month. Those with experience as well as those with no experience are welcome to join as a way to begin to explore mindfulness and compassion programs.

Community Resource Centers and Student Support Programs
Our campus offers six community centers open to the whole Triton community: The Black Resource Center, Cross-Cultural Center, Intertribal Resource Center, LGBT Resource Center, Raza Resource Centro, and the Women’s Center, as well as Asian Pacific Islander Middle Eastern Desi American (APIMEDA) Programs and Services. These Campus Resource Centers and Programs provide spaces to foster belonging, connect through open dialogue and provide supportive resources to our campus community. The International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO) provides services and engagement opportunities that are open to all, with a focus on international faculty, researcher scholars, staff, students and their families.

Resources for Campus Staff and Faculty
Campus staff, faculty and academics, all postdoctoral and visiting international scholars, as well as all UC San Diego retirees, can access no-cost, confidential counseling services through our top-rated Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). The HEAR (Healer Education, Assessment and Referral) Program provides anonymous and confidential online screening, short term counseling, education, debriefing, and personalized mental health referrals and community resources to all UC San Diego Health physicians and health team members.
