New Location for Annual Bike Day Event, May 15 |
In support of National Bike Month, UC San Diego will participate in SANDAG’s regional 2025 Bike Anywhere Day event the morning of Thursday, May 15. Join thousands of your fellow Tritons and other San Diegans by participating in this annual event. This year, the event will be held at a new location on Sun God Lawn, away from construction activity and easily accessible using the campus network of mode-separated micromobility paths.
Register for Bike Anywhere Day by May 15 to be eligible for a free t-shirt and be entered to win one of three e-bikes from Rad Power Bikes. (View drawing rules). Registration is appreciated but not required to join in any of the 100 pit stops planned throughout San Diego County for Bike Anywhere Day, offering bike riders the opportunity to rest and enjoy free snacks. UC San Diego will host both morning and evening pit stop events on the La Jolla campus Sun God Lawn which will include refreshments, safety gear and other prizes—while supplies last—to help riders be ready to keep the good times rolling year-round. Note: A helmet is required to receive food items at our events.

- 6:30-9:30 a.m.: Transportation Services will provide bicycle commuters refreshments, including bagels, muffins and fruit; prizes will also be offered. Mechanics will be on-site to provide first aid for your bike.

3:30-5:30 p.m.: Transportation Services and campus partners will return with pizza slices to help riders fuel up for evening classes or a safe ride home.
