Campus Road Closures This Weekend

UC San Diego is sponsoring and hosting the Curebound Cancer Challenge, a large-scale, walk-run-ride charity fundraiser for cancer research taking place on RIMAC Field this Saturday, August 2.

Please note these multiple road closures around campus to accommodate the event:

Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. to Aug. 2 at 5 p.m.

  • Hopkins Drive between Spanos Loop and LionTree Arena loading dock

Aug. 2 from 9-11 a.m.

  • Scholars Drive North between Muir Lane and Exploration Drive
  • Muir Lane between P206 and Scholars Drive South
  • Scholars Drive South between Muir Lane and La Jolla Shores Drive

Curebound is headquartered in San Diego amidst a unique combination of three NCI-cancer centers, clinical care hospitals, biotech companies, venture capital investors, philanthropic networks, and most importantly - a regional culture that embraces the spirit of collaboration.

Event information and detailed course maps can be found on the Curebound Cancer Challenge website.
