ALL ACADEMICS AT UC SAN DIEGO

To provide a more personal, yet informal welcome to incoming undergraduates and graduates, the campus has reimagined Convocation to include three separate welcoming components for new UC San Diego students; a campus Common Read, welcome videos from campus leaders, and faculty/student mixers. The mixers will be an opportunity for new students and faculty to meet and get to know each other in an informal setting, encouraging academic-, research- and career-oriented conversations. If you have not already, please register to participate in tomorrow’s mixer!

These mixers are designed to provide each school an opportunity to highlight their unique academic and research offerings and their outstanding faculty. You are welcome to participate in one or both mixers. You are strongly encouraged to RSVP today to participate in these engaging events to connect with students and help welcome them to UC San Diego.
