Dear Colleagues:

The General Campus, Health Sciences, and Marine Sciences Research Grant Committees are pleased to solicit applications for research support for research projects and bridge funding. Applications may be submitted any time before the quarterly deadlines listed below to be considered for that round. Decisions will be announced by the end of December, the end of February, and the end of May for each respective round. Please note that the application process is competitive, and not all applications will be funded.

Application Process: Applications are created and submitted electronically through eGrants. Information about eGrants is available at https://senate.ucsd.edu/online-tools/interactive-utilities/egrants/  

NOTE: You can go on the Academic Senate eGrants site and click on Research Program Questions in the Data Dictionary for a preview of all the questions and what documentation will be needed to complete the application.  If you cannot complete it all at one sitting, the eGrants applications exist in the draft state until they are submitted.  Therefore, you can create an application, logout, and return at a later date to continue working without losing your incremental changes.
