Improve How We Move – Two Urgent Transportation Surveys

All UC San Diego students are encouraged to act now to complete two urgent surveys that will help shape on- and off-campus transportation options for current and future Tritons.

#1 – HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MTS!

Public transportation in San Diego is seeing a lot of momentum. However, that growth is threatened by near-term service cuts and a projected $100 million budget shortage in a few years.

MTS OnTrack will create two plans to help guide the future of MTS service: One plan that outlines service improvements if MTS gets more funding and another plan outlining service cuts should MTS receive no additional funding.

You can help shape the future of MTS by completing these activities:

Vote for the priorities that matter most to you in a public transit system.
Map  where you want to see new and/or improved bus and Trolley service in the region.
Join the conversation about transportation project and service needs, trending project ideas and more.

Please provide your input to MTS using the links above before September 12.

#2 – ADVISE STAC ON U-PASS INVESTMENTS!

During fall quarter, the Student Transportation Advisory Committee (STAC) will begin distributing funding approved in the 2025 U-Pass Referendum to improve transportation access, equity, efficiency and safety on campus.

STAC is gathering student input to guide these investments and identify transportation solutions that meet the needs of the UC San Diego community. Your ideas, no matter how big or small, can help shape the future of transportation on campus. Be creative and feel free to suggest programs, services or initiatives you’d like to see. Take the survey by October 17.
