UC San Diego AI Symposium and Call for Presentations

We are pleased to invite you to save the date for our upcoming UC San Diego AI Symposium, which will be held on campus Friday, May 29. An invitation and more details, including how to register to attend, will be shared soon.

The goal of the symposium is to develop broad-based awareness of how AI is being used by our faculty and staff across campus in a variety of contexts. Through faculty-led presentations and demonstrations, we will showcase current AI use cases across the university, surface best practice examples and emerging risks, and identify opportunities that will help refine our coordinated UC San Diego AI strategy.

Presenters and participants will have a valuable opportunity to share their expertise, exchange insights with colleagues, learn new ways to implement AI, and build collaboration around AI within our faculty community.

Invitation to Submit Your Presentation

We welcome presentation proposals from faculty at all levels, whether you are just beginning to explore AI, pioneering advanced applications or leading a major initiative.

Please submit applications here by March 31, 2026. Presentation spots are limited, so we encourage you to submit your proposal early.

Thank You

I look forward to gathering together to explore the breadth and depth of the groundbreaking AI work among our faculty. Thank you for your contributions and participation.
