This Sunday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Throwing Field between N Torrey Pines Rd. and North Point Ln., a registered student organization, Emergency Medical Services at UC San Diego, will be hosting a SIMULATED emergency incident for training purposes.
The training event will take place outdoors using volunteer patient actors in scripted roles portraying various injuries in makeup. The simulation will be closely monitored by a safety officer, and the training event will be paused immediately if a safety concern arises.
There are no road closures for this event and pedestrian access to Northview Tennis Courts will remain available. For any questions regarding this event, please contact Emily Marx Trask, Executive Director for the Center for Student Involvement.
