Sun God Festival Road Closures and Parking Impacts - May 1 & 2 |
The 42nd annual Sun God Festival, hosted by Associated Students Concerts & Events, will be held on Saturday, May 2, from noon to 6 p.m. on RIMAC Field. Due to the construction of event infrastructure, there will be several parking and traffic impacts beginning Friday, May 1 through Saturday, May 2.

- Friday, May 1, 8 p.m. through Saturday, May 2, 10 p.m. - Parking lots P359 (Spanos Loop) and P357 (adjacent to Rady School of Management) will be closed.
- Saturday, May 2, 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. - Hopkins Drive will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
- Saturday, May 2, 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. - Voigt Drive between Engineers Lane and Hopkins Drive will close intermittently with no vehicles allowed 5-7 p.m.

Saturday, May 2, 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. - Access to Hopkins Parking Structure and Library Loop on Hopkins Drive will be impacted. The Hopkins Parking Structure will only be accessible via the 5th floor entrance on Voigt Lane. The ground level entrance on Hopkins Drive will be closed. No inbound or outbound traffic from any of these parking areas will be permitted 5-7 p.m.

Saturday, May 2 - The northwest area of campus will have intermittent impact on road access and parking.

We strongly encourage all festival attendees to use alternative transportation to get to and from the event on Saturday, May 2.

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System will provide light rail and bus service to the campus.
- Ride-share drop off and pick up will be on the upper deck of the Pangea parking structure.
