The San Diego Divisional Senate is hosting its third and final virtual budget town hall of this academic year on Thursday, May 28 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla. Chancellor Khosla and Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Budget Operations Mercedes Muñoz will review the fiscal forecast for next year and offer an update on campus budget plans in light of the May Revision of the Governor’s Budget. Following their presentation, school deans will join Chancellor Khosla, AVC Muñoz and me for a panel discussion on how school and departmental budget decisions are made and how they are preparing for the next fiscal year. There will be opportunities for faculty to ask the panel questions during the discussion.
Please register to attend the budget town hall. Access is limited to users with an authenticated UCSD Zoom account (ucsd.edu email address). You may submit a question for the town hall when you register or during the event, and we will do our best to get to as many as possible.
