Since 05-19-2026, there have been two (2) reported residential burglaries at the La Jolla Del Sol Apartments; Timely Warnings have been sent out.
On 05-22-2026 at approximately 1218pm, the UC San Diego Police Department responded to the La Jolla Del Sol Apartments regarding a suspicious male entering an apartment through an unlocked front door. The resident said that an unknown male knocked on the front door several times, then proceeded to open the door and step inside. The resident contacted the unknown male, who turned and ran out of the apartment.
The resident’s “nanny-cam” was activated in the living room, capturing a video of the unknown male. The resident provided the picture below.
