We write to remind you that the UC San Diego Faculty AI Symposium is just two days away. All faculty and staff who have not already secured a spot to attend in person are welcome to participate virtually via the livestream. The event will take place on Friday, May 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The day will be devoted to exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping higher education and UC San Diego’s leadership in the space. UC San Diego faculty will showcase innovative AI use cases that enhance teaching and help ease the administrative burden associated with instruction. The program will also feature panel discussions on broader AI-related issues and concerns. All members of our community are welcome, regardless of prior AI experience.
Virtual attendees will be able to participate and submit questions throughout the day via a live chat function. A detailed schedule of presenters and panel discussions can be found on the website. Click on the livestream tab to access the livestream link on May 29. No prior registration is needed.
