Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla and Academic Senate Chair Rebecca Jo Plant are delighted to invite you to attend the UC San Diego Faculty AI Symposium.
Friday, May 29 | 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The day will be devoted to exploring how AI is reshaping higher education. It will showcase UC San Diego faculty presenting innovative AI use cases focused on the classroom and operational support around teaching, as well as panel discussions on broader AI-related issues and concerns All are welcome, regardless of prior AI experience. The symposium will also include a networking lunch, with the goal of fostering a vibrant Faculty AI Community at UC San Diego.
Spaces are limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you register, we ask for your full commitment to attend. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your seat to a colleague on the waitlist, as there is strong interest and we want to fill every seat.
You will receive confirmation of your seat within one week of registering or be notified if you have been placed on the waitlist. Full joining instructions and a program will be shared prior to the event.
The event will also be livestreamed and recorded, with details to follow. For those joining us in the room, we anticipate the kind of face-to-face conversation and connection that make in-person gatherings so valuable.
