UPDATE TO Community Alert Bulletin - Police Activity at Mesa Park Court – SUSPECT ARRESTED

On 06-12-2026 at approximately 9:00 AM, the suspect in the incident from Mesa Park Court was seen back in the area and subsequently taken into police custody.

  • The suspect has been identified, and there are no outstanding suspects
  • At this time, a suspect is in custody.
  • This incident is currently under investigation by the UC San Diego Police Department

There is police activity on Mesa Park Court in the Mesa Apartments on the UC San Diego campus.  Avoid the area if possible. Otherwise, lock doors and stay inside. UCSD responders on scene.
