Dear Colleagues,
To better understand how education research is perceived, utilized, and supported across our campus, the Senate-Administration Workgroup on Education Research Activities is launching a university-wide faculty survey to capture the diverse perspectives of our academic community. Your feedback will directly influence how our campus supports innovative instruction and curriculum development moving forward.
For this initiative, education research is defined broadly as the systematic study of teaching, learning, and educational environments aimed at improving educational outcomes. This encompasses discipline-based education research (DBER), the learning sciences, assessment, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).
Your insights will help identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing education research and its impact across the institution.
