PrivSecPro Supplier Review Training
Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

What is a third-party supplier review? Why are third parties reviewed? What types of purchases require a review? How is data classification determined? The Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions Office, the Office of Information Assurance and the Campus Privacy Office will answer these questions and more. In this engaging training session on the UC San Diego Supplier Review Process, participants will learn what privacy, security, and procurement reviews entail, how to submit requests and what to expect once the review is complete.
This training is presented by the Integrated Procure-to-Pay Solutions Office, the Office of Information Assurance and the Campus Privacy Office.

Privacy 202 Workshop
Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, from 1-4 p.m.
Hosted by UC San Diego’s Chief Privacy Officer, Pegah Parsi, this virtual workshop is a follow-up to Privacy 101. This hands-on, interactive workshop will explore specific aspects of what a privacy program entails, such as setting up a governance structure, developing policies, reviewing vendors, and setting up an educational, training, and awareness program. Attendees will collaborate on some real-world examples of issues a privacy office must handle and brainstorm various innovative solutions. Recommended for those who have completed Privacy 101 as a pre-requisite.
